Please Bethesda, please give us an update on where a fix is for this, because at this point I am spending WAY more time sitting at loading screens, killing the exe in Task Manager, and relaunching the game than I am actually playing it.Cardmembers enrolled in the American Express Membership Rewards ® programme will earn one additional bonus Membership Rewards point in addition to their standard earn rate (for a total of 2 points) for every full £1 spent on flights, prepaid hotels, car hire and experiences booked through the American Express Travel website .uk/travel. They all run as expected fast load times (my games are all on NVMs drives), never crash to desktop, and I never have to ALT+F4 out of them (they all have their little in-game issues here and there, but nothing like FO76). I play WoW, Kingdoms of Amalur, ESO, 7 Days to Die, No Man's Sky, Fallout 4, and Minecraft regularly, and none of them have issues like this. I have over 100 games installed on this PC across multiple drives. Obligatory "this is the only game on my system that is doing this" disclaimer here. (i9 9900k, Geforce 2080 w/latest drivers) When I can actually play, the game itself runs at a solid 90+ FPS. It also seems like it's spreading to other in-game systems: vendors and legendary exchange machines take upwards of two minutes to respond frequently now, and some menu navigation is incredibly laggy at times (like crafting benches). ![]() ![]() Edited ini file to change vsync (currently at default settings) Completely uninstalled/reinstalled my video drivers (Nvidia settings are all default) Uninstalling/reinstalling the game (multiple times now) So I have to ALT+F4 (sometimes have to kill the process in Task Manager too, because the sound keeps playing). Sometimes I can actually hear the 'low on water' sound (and other game sounds) while the loading screen is up for a while. It's pretty much the same story as everyone else who is reporting this: Fast travel somewhere -> loading screen comes up -> screen stays up for upwards of five minutes -> in rare instances the game actually loads at the 6-7 minute point, but most of the time it doesn't. This stings extra bad because I paid for FO1st (it happens on both public & private servers) Meanwhile, this loading screen issue started after the last update and it has gotten so progressively bad for me that it is happening almost every other fast travel screen, sometimes at the very first time that I fast travel in the game. I've seen a BUNCH of posts about this, filed bugs, pinged Bethesda on social media, sent email, etc., but have heard nothing in response.
